Along the curb on 16th Street this morning.
This Duke or Duchess of Hazzard has decided to garnish the noble chariot with an extremely bold theme. Fabulous! We feel, however, that the deep blue of what appears to be the Hazzard family crest introduces discordance to the overall design; a sort of visual Civil War, so to speak. We would have gone with a logo more neutral and silvery, something that would soak up the summery vermilion around it without trying — and failing — to shout over it.
Moreover, functionally, we fear that the emblem’s placement may impede the driver’s rear-view capabilities. Out of concern for safety, we recommend staying away from this magnificent vehicle if you see it on the road, or parked by a house or outside of Pat’s Blue Rib’n.
